Efutures is a four country resource designed to support innovation when using e-assessment in qualifications.
The site explains the policies and Regulatory Principles related to e-assessment and provides case studies and resources to help see the principles in context. Efutures has been designed to encourage dialogue between the regulators Ofqual in England and Northern Ireland, SQA in Scotland, DCELLS, in Wales, CCEA in Northern Ireland and stakeholders on the key themes and topics relating to e-assessment, systems and security, accessibility, e-testing, e-portfolios and help and support. Your feedback helps us to develop and improve future policies and thinking on e-assessment.
We hope you find e-assessment.org.uk to be a useful resource.
Item banks used by Awarding Bodies for on demand testing need to contain sufficient volume of questions to ensure comparability and reliability held in a secure environment. Each item bank must be comparable in the time it takes to complete, and must be designed to ensure equal choice for disabled learners.
